Anneli was born in France and raised in Germany where she was educated during World War II as a medical doctor. She fell in love with an American GI named Gene Sacco who sent for her in 1946 to become his wife in Seattle, WA. She was fluent in five languages, an accomplished pianist, avid bird-watcher and gardener, bracciole and meatball maker extraordinaire and was known to master the NY Times crossword puzzle every week. She was compassionate and was a kind and loving neighbor to all. She was a woman of service to others, but more importantly a woman of God. Anneli spent her entire life telling everyone she knew about her risen Savior...not just by her words, but how she lived her Christian life. She was truly an example of what Jesus asked us to do. She was a long-time parishioner and servant in Saint Brendan's Church. She is survived by three sons Gene (Michele), Ron (Linda), and Bob (Mary) who were the lights of her life. Raising those boys was her life's mission. She was Grandma to seven granddaughters and had eight great grandchildren. The Lord has called her home after 95 years. We are saddened, but extremely overjoyed that she is now with Christ reaping the rewards He promises all of us. Rest in peace, Mom. Give Dad a big hug from his three boys. We will love you both, always.
