Born August 14, 1919 in Upson County, Georgia died peacefully in her sleep September 28, 2004. Her husband Velver L. Featherstone preceded her death in 1998.
She did day work for many families in Seattle and later retired as a maid from the Commodore Hotel, Seattle, WA..
She is survived by her daughter, Annie George, Seattle, WA.; granddaughters Leigh Ann Grant, Fresno, CA.; Illume, Seattle, WA.; Melanie Lynn Adams Todd , Sr., Fullerton, CA.; great-grandchildren, Grant F. Johnson, Brian M. Grant, Gary B. Grant, Tizer L. Grant, Gregory C. Grant, Todd Adams, Jr.; great-great grandchild Davion B. Grant; nieces, nephew and friends.
