Barbara Diane Bauer, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on June 8th, 2023. She was 79 years old. She was born on February 19, 1944 in Auburn, Washington to Lowell and Flora Hardison. She was the middle of three children, with an older brother Lowell and a younger sister Carol.
She attended Lincoln High School and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Sociology.
She worked for several technology companies over the years, including General Telephone & Electronics Corporation (GTE) as a Human Resources Professional and later at Bechtel and Boeing as administrative support. She retired in 2006.
She was an avid crafter, sewing, knitting and quilting, and could frequently be found at craft shows during the holidays. She also enjoyed traveling and volunteering at her grandchildren's elementary school.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Michele and son Christopher and their families, including four grandchildren Tyler, Kenneth, Kurtis and Keenan, along with her brother Lowell Hardison and sister Carol Bison.
