We count it a privilege & great joy to meet Auntie Barbara Ann Chinn in our recent holidays to Seattle . Such beautiful memories and time of chatting with her , singing & worship to the Lord whom Barbara loved and faithfully trusted all her life . Surely Jesus will say to her “ Welcome home , faithful servant and daughter of God  ! “

This is from Art Wong.  When we lived in our old house in SE Brooklyn my dad would drive the family up to Seattle to visit relatives.  We would stop and visit with Aunt Barbara.  She would ask us if we would like a snack.  I was usually a little hesitant because I didn't know what kind of snack this was. I am sure it was fine because I can't remember what she offered us. I remember she was always glad to see us.  Art Wong

We never  met Barbara but through Alan learned of her character and personality. Alan sometimes related our family challenges and adversities to her. He told us that she put us in our prayers. And she was often in ours. 
She has fought the good fight and run the good race into the arms of the loving Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.

Words can't describe what Grandma meant to our family 
throughout the years. To the time we spent at Disneyland when
Douglas and Jeffrey were young, to the time we spent together on the cruise to Alaska, to the time when Grandma flew down to California to surprise Sherrie on her 50th birthday. And of course, the time we spent together celebrating Grandma's 100th birthday! Special memories like these will be everlasting.
Grandma, we cherished each moment we spent with you and we will never forget the love you gave to us through eternity.

I have never met Ms Chinn . But I saluted how she raised her children with love and compassion . May she rest in peace with our Lord and family be comforted.

Having grown up  next door to each other for years- with our parents being good friends who checked up on each other, it’s a sad day to see your mom is gone.   It was nice knowing some neighbors were still around.  She will be missed!  Such a nice  woman.
