Barbara Joan O'Halloran

Barbara was born at Waldo General Hospital in Seattle, Washington to Mabel Kendall of Benton City, WA and Bendy Reese of Birch Bay, WA. Barbara had two sisters; her older sister Janet Reese who preceded her in death and a younger sister Katherine Matlin.

She went to school in Seattle, WA until 4th grade when her father was transferred to Coulee City and went to school there through her Junior Year. Her father was transferred again, this time to Deer Park, WA where she finished high school and was also married.

She was married on June 6, 1959 to William O’Halloran of Chicago and had two children William O’Halloran IV and Colleen Warchola, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She loved her children, grandchildren, quilting and golf. She eventually made quilts for every member of her family and won an award for one of her quilts at the State Fair.

Bill and Barbara were snowbirds in Sun Lakes, AZ for 13 years. They enjoyed golfing and hosting family and friends from their winter home before traveling back to Washington for the summer months.

Barbara and Bill lived a full life together, traveling often in their retired years and creating many wonderful memories together.
