
Born April 27, 1942 in Paris, Arkansas. Passed away August 31, 2003. Jerry was a proud alumni of both the University of Washington Bachelor of Science Degree and the University of Oregon Master of Science Degree and Ph. D. in Mathematics. He spent the last 23 years of his career teaching Mathematics at North Seattle Community College, brilliantly and loyally dedicating himself to inspiring his beloved students, and shall remain forever unsurpassed in his ability to assist many thousands of people in conquering their mathematical fears and reaching innumerable personal goals. In addition to his incredible teaching achievements, Jerry?s deep devotion to his pets, immense talent and enjoyment for music, and endless passion for fishing will all suffer from the loss of his attentions. Jerry will be remembered for his perpetual and irresistible sense of humor, his love and pride in his family, and his sincere caring for the well being of everyone in this beautiful world that we all share. Jerry is survived by Lynn, his wife of 41 years, daughter Debbie, son-in-law Rob, granddaughters Jenny and Shelly, niece Bonny, nephews Ric and Dave, and sister Ruby. Jerry was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2003, 3pm until 8pm and Thursday, September 4, 2003, 8am until 8pm at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle. At his request, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evergreen Hospice Services, Kirkland, WA.
