Bess Bessie M. Williams

BESS BESSIE M. WILLIAMS, age 90, of Kirkland, passed away peacefully at Queen Anne Healthcare in Seattle on November 12, 2002. She was born December 13, 1911 in Whitwell, Tennessee, the daughter of John and Bertie Lamb. Bess is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles C. Williams in 1985. She is survived by her children Kenneth R. Jean Williams and Carole Ann Williams; grandsons Charles Bradley, Courtney Carl and Kenneth Randall Williams; and six great-grandchildren. Loved and admired by all who knew her, she will be deeply missed. She was a good Mother, Nana, patient and person. During her homemaking days, she especially enjoyed gardening, pets, her lovely collection of antiques, and her marvelous neighbors and neighborhood. The family gratefully acknowledges the physicians, nurses and other members of the health care community who cared for her during her long illness. Nurse Irene Dodd, in particular, loved and mothered her as her own. Graveside services will be Monday, November 18, 2002 at 11am and will be conducted at Evergreen Memorial Park, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, Wa.
