Bruce Ruxton Heald was born the fourth of five boys to George and Ella Heald in Sultan, Washington February 22, 1919. He married his high school sweetheart, Lois Johnson of Bothell, and they had four children. Bruce is survived by two older brothers, Russell (99) and Ervin (97). He was preceded in death by the oldest brother Vernon and youngest brother Bill.
Bruce spent many years in the lumber business, first employed at Wallace Lumber Mill in Startup. Many in the area remember Bruce from his years with Knoll Lumber in Kenmore. His last job was with Edmonds Roofing where Lois was employed as Bookkeeper. Lois and Bruce celebrated 65 years of marriage and family was always their first priority.
Left behind to celebrate his life are daughters Barbara (Ruiz) and Karen (Albedyll) and sons Robert and Jim along with their spouses. Bruce left 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren to carry on his traditions and retain fond memories of their lives with him.
