Carol Zuther

Carol was born August 26, 1934 in Berlin, WI. She was the daughter of Dr. Burt Arthur and Dorothy "Lucille" Allen Bush. She was a graduate of Berlin High School and completed her Bachelor's of Education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

It was at the university that she met her husband, Marlin "Zip" Zuther. They were married in Milwaukee, WI on August 16, 1957. Carol taught kindergarten in Milwaukee while Zip completed his degree. In 1959 the couple moved to Seattle, Washington where they resided in their West Seattle home for almost 60 years.

Carol is survived by her husband, Marlin "Zip" Zuther, daughter Carrie (John) Zuther-Bruns, grandson, Garrett Bruns, granddaughter, Taryn Bruns, and nieces and nephews.

Carol will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, love of animals, and generous nature.

At the request of the deceased, there will not be a funeral service. The family prefers that memorials be made to the Humane Society or PAWS in her name.
