Carolyn Ann Jenkins

Carolyn "Carol Ann" Henderson-Jenkins, 64, passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 13 1960. Our mom was born in Baton Rouge, LA and Raised in Seattle,WA by her parents mother Mable Parker-Henderson and Father Preston Henderson whom she now joins in heaven. Our Mother dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her four children. She pursued a successful career as a Nurse bringing her loving and compassionate personality to work as a gift to those around her.

Carolyn's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her homemade food dishes were legendary to us kids, and her presence at gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike due to her ability to light up the room. Carolyn's love for art, dancing, and singing will be truly missed, however with many talents and skills passed on to her kids she will always be with us in spirit..

She is survived by her 4 children Tearra, Denise, Stanley, and Leo, 5 grandchildren Cedric, Dre, Nathanael, Sire and Natalie and loving siblings Rose Henderson, Preston Henderson, Patrica Henderson, Leo Henderson, Leola Henderson, Brenda Henderson and Lanell Henderson with a host of nieces and nephews that she loves dearly. A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on June 14th 1:30pm-3:30pm at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Avenue N. Seattle, Washington 98133. We are wearing our moms favorite color Red/White to honor her heart."

A celebration of life memorial service for Carolyn will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Washington 98133.
