Chafik Jamil Nassar

A memorial service for Chafik will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved brother, uncle, friend and mentor, Chafik Nassar. Chafik was born in Ismailia, Egypt on October 16th,1953 and departed this world unexpectedly far too soon on December 8th,2023 in Seattle, Washington. We take comfort in the knowledge that he will live in our memories. His warm smile, infectious laughter and with his compassionate heart, he touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Chafik had many hobbies and interest in sports especially soccer and football. He traveled the world, enjoyed skiing, playing all card games and gambling on the horse races. In addition he enjoyed music and played several different instruments.

Chafik will be deeply missed by his brothers Nabil (Christine wife), Samir (Georganne wife), his sisters Marie Bogdady, Denise Micheals (Rick husband), Aida Lynch, Sonia Alkhedairy and Odette Nassar. He was the "funcle" to 18 nieces and nephews and 23 grand nieces and grand nephews, as well as extended family and numerous friends and acquaintances. He is predeceased in death by his parents Gamil and Antoinette (Medawar) Nassar and his brother Said Nassar.
