Charlotte Mary Smith Allen

Born February 8, 1915 in Seattle, Washington to Corwin D. Smith and Stella (Hubbard) Smith, passed away, after a life well-lived, on February 8, 2013, her 98th birthday. Her birthday was spent with family and friends. Charlotte enjoyed home and family life, and her greatest achievement was being the wife of ralph W. allen and mother of Mandy (Allen) Bennett. She also supported many other local families through her charitable work with the Seattle Children's Hospital and the Seattle Visiting Nurse association. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph and is survived by her daughter Mandy and her husband Doug, her grandchildren, Heather Marinella and Kristin Bennett. Private services were held at acacia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlotte's name to Seattle Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
