
Charlotte Pauline (Bondo) Martin, 78, of Kenmore, WA, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born May 13, 1938 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late George and Edel (Iversen) Bondo. Charlotte married William Martin in 1971 in Fall City, WA. He preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by three sons from her first husband Joe Shaw named Joseph Berny Shaw II and wife Lori, Gordon Paul Shaw and wife Kami, Gilliad Lloyd Shaw and wife Dianne. In addition, she has two younger sons William Richard Martin and Christopher George Martin; four grandchildren, Leon, Kevin, Alex and Trevor; one great-granddaughter, Abigail. Charlotte also had two brothers, Paul Bondo and wife Linda and David Bondo and wife Paula. Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister, Grette Smith.
Charlotte lived and interesting and eventful life. From Owning a Tack Shop in her early adulthood, offshore fishing in Alaska, operating the "Orange Turtle" diner in Fall City, and her greenhouse Called the "Madhouse". Later in life Charlotte worked as a Real Estate appraiser for over 25 years and retired in 2013.
Charlotte was very much a contrast in personality types. Stoic and excitable, severe but loving and always a big heart. She never denied anyone help or her broad shoulders when they needed it. She loved spending time with family and loved her 5 sons very much. She loved taking road trips as an appraiser enjoyed traveling.
