

Curt was born to Bernice (Haglund) Nichols and Clayton Nichols in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in West Seattle and graduated from West Seattle High School. He graduated from the University of Washington with an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Curt was hired by Boeing just after college, where he earned his PE designation, and spent more than 45 years working in their Aerospace division. Through his profession, he was able to travel extensively, and cultivated relationships with many wonderful people who have enriched his life and the lives of his family.
Curt also found meaning serving his community. He volunteered as the chairman of the Boeing Employees Good Neighbor Fund, and served for more than 20 years on the boards of the Medic One Foundation and Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center.
Curt, a devoted father and gentleman, was always surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his father, Clayton Nichols; daughter, Aimee; Sister, Penny (Bruce); brother, Jack and their children; his love of 13 years, Linda Bothell and her family; and countless treasured friends.
