

Cynthia Elaine Cindy Brunotte, 59, of Woodinville, passed away suddenly, Friday, June 24th, 2016 following a brief illness. She was born November 19, 1956 in Pensacola, FL, the daughter of David Brunotte and Christie Andersen. Cindy was well known and highly respected in the travel business; she proudly owned Captain's Travel for over 35 years. She was a member of Seattle Executives Association for many years. Cindy is best described as being 'the most generous person anyone has ever met' and always put others' needs before her own. She was an active member of Avondale Bible Church and participated in annual mission trips to Mexico, building homes and providing vision services to the community. Her friendliness and kindness to all people, and her devotion and love for animals is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul. She showed her compassion for animals by caring and loving for her three dogs, fifteen chickens, twenty six goats and a barn cat. She was fiercely devoted to her husband and two children who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband, M. Joseph Medalia; daughter, Elizabeth Christine Medalia; son, David Joseph Medalia; mother, Christie Andersen; three brothers, David Brunotte (Sue), Ralph Vickerman and Christopher Rudolph; sister, Janet Kingery (Jack); She was preceded in death by her father David Brunotte. Cindy had a special place in her heart for her extended family; mother-in-law, Betsy Hamstad, Joe's four sisters and brother-in-laws. She was also close to her numerous nieces and nephews. Her inspiring presence will be deeply missed by her many friends and family who had the privilege to have known her.
