

Dana James Connelly, 63, of Duvall, WA, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was born September 16, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA. Dana had many hobbies in his early years including flying his Cessna, racing Shifter karts, hunting, fishing, skiing, or busy building or improving something. He operated Eastside Collision for 25 years and is well known for his contributions throughout the industry. That was not enough for him though, as he loved being the life of the party behind the bar at the Twin Dragon. Dana's larger than life personality and infectious smile won him the affection of many in the town of Duvall. He also loved traveling around the country on his Harley-Davidson and was meticulous about keeping that chrome clean, having a whole saddle dedicated to detail products. Dana is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Atkinson, mother Maureen Corcoran Hale, and step-father Ray Connelly. He is survived by his four children, Jennifer, Tyler, Tucker, and Darrah; three grandchildren, Serena, Rylan, and Stella Connelly; three sisters, Karen Clarke, Kathy May, and Kristy Finney; brother Dan Connelly, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Dana was a great man, father, and friend to many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of even a brief conversation with him or the privilege of being touched by his charismatic personality. A celebration of Dana's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Avenue NE, Bothell, WA.
