

Born on February 27, 1947 in Seattle, WA, she was a lifetime Washington resident where she was married to John Young, April 19th, 1968. Dana was a homemaker for the early childhood of her children. She was very active in the PTA serving as President and Vice President. After her success as a homemaker, she joined the work force. She most currently was a receptionist at Sensitech where she retired after 27 years in March 2016.
Dana loved camping at the family property, was a connoisseur of Scrabble, a faithful follower of Days of Our Lives and mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Dana is preceded in death by her husband, John Young; her mother, Luella Kenney and her father, Louis Marbut.
Dana is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brice) Christensen; son, Todd (Carolyn) Young; grandchildren, Hailey, Addison and Spencer; sister, Susan (Jerry) Nissley and nephews, Kevin Nissley and Brian (Rachel) Nissley.
Dana will be laid to rest alongside her late husband at Kirkland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dana may be made to American Diabetes Association.
