
David A. Anderson of Mercer Island passed away October 6, 2005 from complications of scleroderma. He was 64. Born December 29, 1940 in Seattle, he was raised in West Seattle and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Anderson worked as a radio and telecommunications technician for more than 20 years in Alaska and Washington State. He received an associate degree in science from Bellevue Community College, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Anderson was a member of Mercer Island Covenant Church, the Mercer Island Radio Operators MIRO, and served as a precinct officer for the King County Republican Party. He is survived by his wife, Julie L. Antle-Anderson of Mercer Island, and sisters Mariann Petersen of Seattle and Janice Roney of Grapeview, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Edna Anderson. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 11:00 A.M., at Washelli Cemetery, 11110 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98133. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Mercer Island Covenant Church.
