

Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to dedicate his career to public service as a Firefighter and retiring as a Lieutenant. Known for his courage, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others, he earned the respect of his colleagues and the gratitude of the community he served.
Beyond his professional life, Dave found his greatest joy being outdoors, spending countless hours hunting and fishing with friends and family. He was an avid collector with a deep appreciation for art, bronze, watches, and coins – pieces that meant a great deal to him.
Dave will be remembered as a beautiful soul with a generous heart. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His stories, sense of humor, warm smile, and unmistakable laugh brought joy to everyone around him and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Stamper, and his daughter, Laura Howell.
Dave is survived by his son, Kenneth Stamper; his grandsons, Branden Stamper and Bryce Stamper; his granddaughters, Allyse Ross, Jennifer Urpman, and Ashley Delarme; his great-grandsons, Arden Delarme and Alder Delarme and his great-granddaughters, Kylar Urpman, Ailyn Ross, and Kenzi Harris.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew him. Service information will be added as soon as it becomes available.
