Delma Mae Burke Franklin

November 17, 1932 – August 4, 2010

Delma was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Don Franklin; sons Scott Meyers (Marlene), Ron Meyers, Gary Meyers (Bridget), and daughter Leah Franklin. Delma had five grandchildren, Danelle, Andrew, Kristen, Colleen and Brogan. She also had three great grandchildren whom she adored and kept her busy, Iverson, Tea Sean and Jhaleo. She was never happier than when she was spending time with her family. Delma lived her entire life in the West Seattle area, was a graduate of West Seattle High School, worked at Seattle City Light, Albertsons, Food Giant and many years at Boeing until retirement. Her kindness, warmth and generosity drew people to her. Everyone she met became her lifelong friend.

A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on August 26, 2010 ~ 11:00 AM at Grace Church, 10323 28th Ave SW Seattle, WA 98146. Memorial donations in Delma’s name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
