Diane Lee Schupp

Diane Lee Schupp (Busby), 80, of Sammamish, Washington, passed away on May 19, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in West Seattle, graduating from West Seattle High School in 1963.

Diane went on to attend Central Washington University, where she met her loving husband and best friend, Bob Schupp. They married in 1968, beginning a marriage that would last nearly six decades. Together, they raised two children, Stacy and John.

Diane spent many years working as a court clerk for the King County District Court in Kirkland. Outside of work, she loved spending time with her family, planting in her garden and was rarely without a dog by her side.

Diane had a warmth and intelligence that drew people to her; she was a great listener, wonderful friend and always wanted to make those in her life feel special.

Diane is survived by her husband, Bob Schupp; her daughter, Stacy Dunlap, and son-in-law Todd Dunlap; her son, John Schupp, and daughter-in-law Ly Phan-Schupp; and her 7 grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Jack, Bale, Cristian, Mateo, and Isabella.

Diane was a constant source of warmth and humor for her family, and her presence touched everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.
