

Don "Neal" O'Neal passed away November 11, 2010 in Olympia, WA after an inspirational battle against cancer at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Don was born in Riverton, WY on December 18, 1948 to Donald and Irene Harris O'Neal. Following his graduation from Pavilion High School in Wyoming, Don's academic pursuits culminated in his earning of a BS from the University of Washington. Upon obtaining his degree Don was commissioned by the United States Health Service as a Lieutenant.
Don's professional and academic accomplishments are but a couple facets of his multi dimensional life. He was a successful rancher and family man who equally enjoyed working with his hands and his community. A deeply religious man, Don freely donated time and resources to his church, Sacred Heart and a number of charities; most notably the South Dakota Indian Children's School. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had been a Councilman for the Northern Arapaho Tribe in Wyoming.
Don will be remembered as a deeply spiritual and passionate man. A man true to his commitments and convictions he was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 grandsons. He is loved and survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters, 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many loving extended family members and friends.
