Donald L. Hobbs

DONALD L. HOBBS. Don passed away on June 27, 2002 at he age of 71 due to heart complications. We who love him and miss him will continue on; His wife of 46 years, Jean; daughter Vickie; son Michael; foster daughters Jackie and Cindy; his brothers Joseph, Robert, Richard Sharon, Raymond Delores, Arthur Shirley Hobbs; his sister Alice Doug Burnett; 9 grandchildren and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Golda Richmond. Don?s light will shine forever in our hearts and memories. Born in Hastings, Michigan on December 14, 1930. He made the Seattle area his home the last 65 years. He proudly served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Bremerton during the Korean War. He worked at N.W. Bolt and Nut Co. for 20 years and was currently managing a retirement community with his wife. His life revolved around his family through camping and fishing trips. He loved to escape in his motor home with his wife and explore places they had never been. A memorial service will be held at Halcyon M.H.P., 12215 Ashworth Ave. N. in Seattle on July 2, 2002 from 11am to 3pm.
