Thank you Don for all you have done to make my life more enjoyable while you were here in person to help enhance my life on the golf course and more importantly off the course. Your courage and smile will always be with me. Your wisdom is really missed these days and I savor your final days as both spoke freely and sat helplessly as we parted company on this space ship called earth. You have left me much laughter, many smiles, a few strokes short, an extremely warm picture of your smile, a scenic trip on Lake Washington, and  a very warm place in my heart. Guess we really never know how deep the connection runs till after the course is run. My connecion with you will always be remembered through my connection with Debbie and thus we all shall carry on. We stroked some balls into the lake on the 18th hole of the TPC at Myrtle Beach a week ago Sunday. My ball passed over the Lake, symbolic to me that you still live within me and Debbie. Take care my friend and we will be seeing you soon.

Gloria & Family ~ My deepest sympathies to each of you on the loss of Don. I know how heavy your hearts must be at this time of sadness.  While Don and I have known of each other for many years, it was  a joy for me to get to know him in the past months.  Don was truly a special friend to two very important people in my life ~ Skip Moorehouse and Don Baglen. I have known both Skip and Don B. for many, many years and have heard them talk often of Don.  How they loved telling some great golf stories!  My friendship with Skip grew much deeper and we have found ourselves enjoying a very special relationship and I must thank Don for some of that.  Skip shared with me some wonderful talks he had with Don.  It was Don who told both of us we had something very special together and that he was praying for us to be together.  He called it a "torrid love story" and I was lucky to have him welcome me so warm and openly.  We will all miss Don and I know Skip and Don B. will miss Don terribly, but I know he will remain with them, especially on the course! 

I hope each of you finds peace during these difficult days ahead.  I know all too well the pain that cancer can cause as I recently lost my mother to this terrible disease at a young age, just like Don.  There are many things cancer does do, but it can't take away or destroy all the fond memories you have of Don.  I have that brings you some comfort.

My greatest sympathies to the family. Don was always a fun member of our foursome.  Dry witt tough competitor with a tenacious short game. We came up with the term "Millerized" for the times Don would seemingly be out of the hole and then he would chip one in from off the green or sink a fifty foot putt to tie the hole or win it. Millerize will be with me and our friends till the day we join Don. Also, Don and I enjoyed a lot of deep conversation about living and taking care of the people around us the past couple years. He was my friend. Thanks Don for the memories I love you and our memories. Skip
