He was the beloved husband of Nancy for nearly 70 years as well as father to Barbara ( Greg), Jeff (Kim) and predeceased by his oldest daughter Carol. He was Papa to his six grandchildren, (Tyler, Natalie, Misty, Alex, Josh and Alisha) and ten great grandchildren.
Don loved the outdoors, including hiking and boating and was a past member of the Mountaineers and past Commander of the Seattle Power Squadron.
Nancy and Don loved to see the world and were fortunate to travel to many interesting places. Being foodies, they were also well known at more than a few of the areas local restaurants and made some wonderful life long friends by way of their frequent visits.
Don was also the sole proprietor of his printing business Newsletters Plus.
After retiring he and Nancy lived in Henderson, NV for several years before returning to Seattle to be near their children.
A Requiem Mass will held Monday, October 26th at 11 AM at:
St. Jude Catholic Church

Mass will be followed by a light luncheon at the church.
