Doreen, age 100, passed away July 11, 2026 at her home in Rochester, WA. She was born September 2, 1925 in Seattle, WA to Glenn and Dorothy Hubbard. She grew up in Spokane, WA and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated in 1948. While there, she became a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and met Charlie Conner at a Pi Beta Phi-Kappa Sigma exchange in January 1948 and were married in December of that year. She and Charlie spent the next 52 years together, including many years traveling across the United States, until his passing in 2001.
Doreen is survived by her son Bill and wife Jenni of Port Orchard, WA; daughter Marilyn Miles and husband Terry of Rochester; grandchildren Julene Rivelle and husband Isaac of Seattle and Dalton Conner and wife Amy of Port Orchard; along with four great-grandchildren. Her family will miss her smile, her kindness and the support she always gave to her family.
