DORIS J. GODSEY, 81, passed away December 27, 2000. She was born June 19, 1919 in Mankato, KS, the daughter of Emmett S. and Olive R. Stansbury Rothchild. Doris was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and family woman. She was faithful in prayer and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Doris is survived by three sons, John Godsey Jr. and wife Janet, Jerald Godsey and wife Martha, and Robert Ray Godsey and wife Valeria; two daughters, Patricia Zulauf and husband Buzz, and Dona Kay Barnard and husband Chuck; three brothers, Dale, Gaylord, and Norman Rothchild; 16 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Godsey Sr.; and son James Godsey; her parents; her brother, Delbert Rothchild; and two sisters, Gwendolyn Shearer and Naomi Kerl. Memorial services will be Saturday, December 30, 2000 at 12noon, and will be conducted at North Seattle Alliance Church, 2150 N. 122nd St., Seattle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to:
