Doris was born on December 26, 1920 in Holbrook, Nebraska to Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Cowles. Doris passed away peacefully on September 21, 2011 surrounded by her family. Doris was preceded in death by her husband David Xavier; two brothers and one sister. She moved to Seattle in 1939. Doris and David enjoyed 54 years of marriage... she missed him greatly. Doris spent most of her life in Seattle and Edmonds raising her family, she worked for Fredrick & Nelson for 25 years. Doris is survived by her 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She lived at Cristwood for 15 years. The last year she was at Bethany of Silver Lake.
