Dorothea HOLT, Age 89, passed Wednesday January 2nd, 2019. Born December 10, 1929, Dorothea lived her entire life in Ballard, graduating from Ballard High School in class of 1947. She married Charles L. Holt on February 24th,1951, and was married 40 years, until Charles passed in January 1992. She was the last surviving of 7 seven children in the Karabach family; Parents Visko and Katherine, and siblings Al, Ernie, Frank, George, Wes, and Katie. She raised 2 sons, Keith C. Holt, and Scott L. Holt; both sons also graduating from Ballard High School in 1970 and 1975. She enjoyed her 4 grandchildren - Aaron Holt, Aleisha Holt, Nathan Holt, Natalee Holt, and 1 great grandchild - Andrew Holt. Dorothea was placed to rest on Saturday January 19th at Evergreen Washelli with a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Seattle Public Library.
