Earl Walker Dudman

Earl Walker Dudman,95, passed away, August 30, 2019 in Lynnwood, Washington. He was born May 12, 1924 in Seattle to Percy and Lillian Dudman. He graduated from Ballard High in 1942. Earl served in WWII in the European Theatre with the 99th division. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart.

After the war, he returned home and married Neita Joy Jones and began a life long journey together. Together they raised three boys. Earl retired after spending time working as a CPA for Benson and McLaughlin, and as a CFO for Gear Works and Olympic Prefabrication. He was a long time member of the NW Church and an elder at the Mt. Lake Terrace Church of Christ.

Earl was preceded in death by his parent, Percy and Lillian Dudman and his brother, Jack. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Neita Dudman; three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Robert and Leslie Dudman of Caldwell, Idaho, David Dudman of Carnation, Washington, and Ken and Cathy Dudman of Shoreline, Washington; granddaughters Jennifer Lehman, Julie Diltz, Jamie Dudman, Kimberly Dudman, and Sarah Turnbull; as well as 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 1:30 at Northwest Church, 19820 Scriber Lake Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Relief Fund on line or by mail P.O. Box 19670, Amarillo, TX 79114.

I loved Earl. He was a character with a great sense of humor. Once he sent me a flier that said ‘It’s hard to soar with eagles when you work with turkeys’. He could always make me laugh. He will be greatly missed.
