Eddie Spicer

For several decades, Eddie had been dealing with a very severe seizure disorder that led to brain damage and memory loss.

His greatest source of joy was his son, Jason Saurer, who was born in 1994. Although Jason lives in Kansas, Eddie did all that he could to be a supportive and loving part of Jason’s life.

Eddie recently celebrated a one-year anniversary with his girlfriend, Rebecca Leet, and was passionately devoted to her.

He was extremely proud of the fact that he had been sober since August 23, 1999 and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Friends in that group described him as a gentle soul.

Eddie is survived by his parents, John and Diana Spicer; his sister, Tricia Spicer Bekey; and his son, Jason Saurer.
