Born in Globe, AZ on August 14, 1930 to parents Charles & Edna J McArthur. Ed was the fourth in line of 5 brothers.
His greatest accomplishment was his 60 year marriage to the love of his life, Donna, whom he married on February 21, 1953 in Seattle, WA. Their love & commitment to each other was like none other.
Words cannot express the love this man had for his family, friends, and his pets Zoe, Ziggy & Lucy. He loved sports, traveling and camping in his trailer, spending time with his family, and he never missed his daily coffee klatch with his twin brother and best friend Doug.
Ed's life was centered on his family, and he provided them the moral compass to guide their lives. His kind and gentle soul will be forever missed.
He is survived by his wife Donna Mae, his son Edward Jr. (Cathy); daughters Arlyn and Jane; daughter-in-law Lori, grandchildren Ashley (Kurt), Daniel; great-grandson Blake Edward Simmons arriving in May; and brothers Charles (Carol), and Douglas (Helene) McArthur.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert McArthur and John (Jack) McArthur.
