In 1983 the family left Antioch and began to attend Christian Faith Center where Ed became an Usher for more than two decades. In 1976 he began working for the Seattle School District as a Custodial Engineer and remained there until he retired in 2002.
Ed started having health challenges around 2010. He fought the challenges and spent his last days in the comfort of his home until his homegoing.
Those left to celebrate his homegoing is his wife of 59 years, Alice Seymour, his two daughters: Annette Seymour and Juanita Rhone. Three grandsons: Jason Seymour, Evan and Ethan Rhone. Two brothers: Johnny Seymour (Rosana) and John Seymour (Geraldine) of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a host of relatives and friends.
