Lifetime resident of Seattle, passed away March 18, 2001 at the age of 89. He proudly worked 46 years for Safeco Insurance and was an active member of Fremont Baptist Church. An avid sports fan, Edwin supported many UW sports programs and held season tickets to most of his favorite teams. Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Violet; daughters Maryanne Pete Peters and Margaret Roger Peter; grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Karen and Eric; and great grandchildren, Michelle, Tyler, Michael and Schuyler. Funeral service Wed., Mar. 28th at 2pm in the chapel of Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home. Remembrances may be made to Medic 1.
