Eleanor Marie Carriere Rock

Eleanor Marie Rock was born in Brooks, MN on Nov. 21, 1928 and passed away on March 28, 2010 in Seattle, WA. She was married to Myron Rock on June 28, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband Myron, mother and father; William and Doria Carriere, sisters; Luvern Marier, Donna Bruggeman and brother; Alfred Carriere. She is survived by five brothers; LeRoy Carriere (Jan), Linus Carriere (Ruth), Duane Carriere (Ann), Arnold Carriere (Kathy), and Allen Carriere.

In her earlier years she worked on the family farm until she went to her uncle’s farm and milked cows and did housekeeping. When she married Myron she moved to Red Lake Falls, MN, they then moved to Seattle, WA in 1950 where she worked 36 years at Sears Mail Order until retiring in 1986. She then took on the job of condo manager until 2004 when she became too ill to continue.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Saturday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
