Eleanor Martha Thompson, 87, of Kirkland, WA, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was born November 18, 1929 in Grassy Butte, ND, the daughter of the late Anthony and Martha (Kowis) Tabor. Eleanor began a successful career as a local Hair Dresser once her children were raised working at Frederick and Nelson and J.C. Penny Department Store salons. She loved playing cards and bingo with her friends at Woodlands. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Morgan; granddaughter, Jennifer German, and husband Trevor; three great-grandchildren, Amanda and Delaney Bushman and Tanner German; and six brothers and sisters, Rosella Hale, Anna Marie Sherry, Sandi Fries, and Dale, Richard, and Lynn Tabor; and many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was preceded in death by her son, Danny Thompson and two brothers, David, and George Tabor. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for January 15, 2017.
The family has designated Evergreen Health Hospice for memorial contributions.
