Elsie lived most of her life in Magnolia with her husband, Ret. Lt. Col. Richard G. Cole. They were married in Chehalis, WA on December 22, 1933 and had one son, Edwin Richard Cole. They were active members of the Magnolia Presbyterian Church. Elsie loved and adored her family who loved and respected her in return.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Jenkins; her grandchildren Laura Thunhurst (Pat), Steven Cole (Tory), and Lisa Raphael (Danny); great-grandchildren Trista, Shayna, Lisa, Kirsten, Alexandra, and Nathaniel.
