

He met his beautiful bride, Rosenda Pastrana, in Hawaii and they married in December 1948.
Pat was a retired Naval Chief Storekeeper and gave twenty years of service from 1945 to 1964 working in technical supply fields assigned to surface and submarine ships. After retirement from the Navy, Pat worked for the Civil Service Commission as a supervisory equipment specialist and again retired in June 1979. His final retirement was in July of 1985 with CACI Inc. when his contract with Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Shipbuilding Program expired. CACI Inc. is a corporate company providing products and services in the areas of defense, intelligence, homeland security, and IT governmental transformations.
Pat Patungan is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rosenda; son Willard Patungan, daughter Darlene and her husband Mark Lindberg, grandson Aaron Lindberg, granddaughter Glenda and her husband Steve Horris, and granddaughter Colette and her husband Ryan Pyatte, three great grandchildren, Luke Horris, Ryder Pyatte, and Caleigh Pyatte; and sister Lily and her husband Mario Mancenido in the Philippines; and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.
