Born September 10, 1970 in Eugene OR; passed away February 12, 2007 at age 36. Survived by his beloved wife, Kelly M. McDonald Mandelblatt, daughter, Rebecca and son, Zachary; parents, David and Darnell of Eugene, OR, a sister, Lisa Mandelblatt, of Waltham, MA, and former wife Karen Armstrong of Mountlake Terrace. Erik counselled and supported dozens of friends and clients. His 20-year affiliation with the AA 12-step program was at the center of his spiritual life and he worked at
Lakeside-Milam In-Patient Adolescent program for 11 years. Erik enjoyed football, baseball, and other sports, as well as being outdoors. Most of all, he loved
being with his children.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 17; 4:00PM,
Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave N. Seattle. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mandelblatt Children's Education Fund. Erik was loved by many and will be missed by all.
