Evelyn Grace Fralick

Evelyn graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington, WA in 1932 and worked in a cafe in the Pike Place Public Market in Seattle for several years before marrying Ralph Thomas Fralick on June 29, 1939.

While living in Bremerton, Washington Evelyn and Ralph had two daughters, Jeannine Nanette and Joan Yvonne.

Ralph was a construction superintendent and worked on dams and other projects in several states. The family enjoyed living in states from coast to coast.

While working in Jamaica Ralph was diagnosed with cancer which ended his career. In the early 1970s they moved back to Seattle to be near family.

Evelyn retired from Crista Nursing Home in 1988 at the age of 75.

Due to her daughter Joan's poor health they lived together at Four Freedoms House in Seattle where she enjoyed several years as a volunteer in the Gift Shop.

In 2011 Evelyn moved to Arden Nursing home in Shoreline, Washington where she was President of the Resident Council. While at Arden Evelyn enjoyed socializing with the other residents, playing Bingo, Scrabble and bowling and as recently as last month Evelyn won first place in bowling at Arden.

Evelyn was a member of Shoreline Free Methodist Church for many years and wherever they lived was always an active member in churches around the country.

Evelyn greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, boating collecting coins, antiques and working with driftwood.

Evelyn is survived by grandchildren Mark Narruhn (Mary Lou) Robin Narruhn, Ken Baker (Scott), Duane Narruhn, Brian Narruhn, Scott Baker and Kristina LaBore (Joseph). Great Grandchildren, Nicholas Narruhn (Lorena), Malissa Hillis (Craig), Tara Narruhn, Maiana Narruhn, Anton LaBore and Josephina LaBore and Great-great Grandchildren, Carson Hillis, Kailey Narruhn, Makenzie Hillis and Baby Narruhn.

She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Thomas Fralick, daughters Jeannine Narruhn and Joan Lyons, her parents, Rex and Iva (Lancaster) Collins, and her siblings, Beth Amy, Marjorie Snyder, Elburn Collins and Vernon Collins.
