Age 83, was born Sept. 2, 1918 in Yankton, South Dakota to Fred and Emma Wilde. She was raised in Minneapolis. She passed away Jan 22, 2002 in Seattle, WA. Evie is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Eugene Giese of West Seattle, son Larry Giese of Westport, daughter Carol Hedrick of Everett and son Bruce Giese of Colby, WA. Also surviving are grandchildren Dawn husband Ed Jeske, Tamara Hedrick and Todd Giese, 8 great grandchildren: Christina, Rick, and Chasdity Rodriquez, Jeremy Marciniac, Alissa Jeske and Marissa Jeske; a sister Leola husband Kenny Loftdahl and numerous nieces and nephews in Minnesota. She will also be missed by her many friends at the West Seattle Garden Club, West Seattle Bowling Lanes and West Side Presbyterian Church. Visitation will begin Sun. Jan 26 from 12noon-6pm and Mon. 8am until service. Funeral services will begin 12noon Mon Jan 28, 2002 at Evergreen-Washelli Chapel 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle, WA. Remembrances preferred to Westside Presbyterian Church.
