Evelyne Fosse

Evelyne Elizabeth Fosse went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 at the age of 93. She was born in 1917 in Hannaford, North Dakota to John and Betsey Ost. She moved to the Seattle area in 1943 where she met her future husband, Wilson Fosse. They were married in 1947 and had three children, Mary Ellen, Roger Wilson, and James Clifford. Her love for her Lord, was demonstrated in all aspects of her life, and she used her God-given talents in service to Him. She was very active at Berean Bible Church and served as a deaconess for many years. Evelyne was an accomplished seamstress and sewed numerous quilts for overseas missions, and clothing for the needy and her family. Evelyne loved spending time in God's word and found peace, comfort and direction for her life there. She is predeceased by her husband, Wilson; daughter, Mary Ellen; son, Roger; brother, Elmer Ost; and sister, Ellen Cain. She is survived by her son, Jim and his wife Marcie; daughter-in-law, Karen Fosse Kline; grandchildren, Jim, Steve, Peter, Krissy and Daniel Fosse, Bethany Miller, Krista Cronk; and great-granddaughters, Sienna Fosse and Macy Miller.
