Flora Erminia Graham passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 30, 2022. She was born in Tripoli, Libya on July 4, 1938 to Italian parents. She was the eldest of eight children. Here she met the love of her life, Alvin Gale Graham, a U.S. Serviceman. They courted, fell in love and eventually married in December of 1960.They settled in Alvin’s home state of Washington, where Flora had resided for the last 62 years. In 2000, Flora retired from her 25-year career at Safeco Insurance.
Flora was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Gale, of 36 years. Their bond was immeasurable, the epitome of true love. Her brothers, Silvio, Sergio, Vincenzo, and Frederico.
She is survived by her nephew, whom she considered a son, Richard Allewalt and his wife Chita. Her sisters Anna, Natalina, and Lilliana. Many nephews and nieces that she loved and cherished.
Flora was a strong, independent, Christian woman, whose massive caring heart matched her faith, wisdom and integrity. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, baking cookies, crafting dolls, knitting beanies for newborns, and adopting and rescuing cats.
Flora was a great positive influence to all she encountered. She will truly be missed.

A visitation for Flora will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133.
Funeral services will occur Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM at Evergreen Washelli.
