She studied home economics at Oregon State University. Florence Married George Fugami on May 1, 1942 and they raised 4 children, Ken, Clyde, Norma and Jeff.
She owned and operated commercial real estate properties until her retirement. She also served as president of the Lady Lions Club and was an honorary member of the Lions Club District Governors. In recognition of her dedicated humanitarian service, she received the Lions Clubs International Foundation Melvin Jones Fellowship.
She is preceded in death by husband George and parents Jisuke and Kame Yogi. Leaves behind her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
