Frances Y. Lim
October 24, 1927 – January 10, 2020
Frances beat-the-odds, she lived a solid, no nonsense, down-to-earth life. She was born in USA, therefore a US citizen. Frances's mother died when she was a baby, and sent back to China to be raised by an abusive step-mother, who died beginning of WWII. She barely survived starvation as an orphan in China during WWII, brought back to Seattle after WWII, and met and married Ark P. Lim in Seattle. Because she didn't have a happy childhood & family, she was deeply devoted to, and gave all her boundless energy and love to her Family. Family was the only true source of happiness and joy in her life. She is survived by her 5 children - Denny, Beverly, Barbara, Diane, Donald, and 4 grandchildren - Stacy, Matthew, Gillian, and Meagan and great grandson Aidan. She is cherished for her unwavering dedication and devotion, she is and will be missed. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten.
