
Mary Jo Taylor. He was the eldest of three children. He attended Wendell Philips
Academy High School in Chicago, Illinois and in 1955 enlisted in the United States Air Force. Fred proudly served his countryfor four years. After his time in the Air Force, Fred went in to work for John Hancock and Aetna, where he sold life insurance. In 1974, Fred met Odessa Clark, who would later become his wife of 34 years (married in June 1981). Fred and Odessa then moved to Mill Creek, Washington from Chicago, Illinois, where Fred was transferred to work for Levitz Furniture Company. While at Levitz, Fred received numerous accolades and awards of Achievement for his service. After more
than 25 years at Levitz, Fred retired to enjoy time with his wife Odessa and his
family. Fred's favorite things to do were to watch his ball games, entertain his family and friends on holidays, and to listen to hismost prized possessions; his records. Fred was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jo, his daughter Vanetta, and his step daughter Pamela Loften. He is survived by his wife Odessa, his daughter Sharon, his sister Cherlyne, his grandchildren Fred,
Tracy, Shawneita, Rashawnda, Pamela, Jerome, along with his many great and
great great grandchildren.
