Fred, or Tolly, as he was always known at USNA, was a true friend for 70 years, especially during the last few years in the National Capitol area. I shall miss his daily emails very much.

Worked with Fred, a man of many stories, from high school football in Texas to Vietnam making sure his men took their salt pills, among other tales, to Iceland igloos, to getting his masters degree in a condensed schedule, to testifying in front of Congress, among many others. Family was important to him, my and my wife's endearances at this sad time go to the Tolleson family.
