Frederick W Freeman

Frederick Ward Freeman passed away in the comfort of his home with family present on July 6th 2026. Fred was born in Portland, OR, to Cecil and Lily Ann. He graduated from Benson High School in 1947 and joined the Navy. During his time in the Navy, he served as an electrical technician during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1951 and moved to Seattle, where he continued working in electronics at Boeing. December 27th,1954 he married Jarine Olson and built a life with her until she died in 1995. They had two daughters. While working at Boeing and raising two young children, he earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.  In 2001, Fred moved to Everett with Marie Wagner. They enjoyed bicycling and cross-country skiing throughout Washington. Fred was very active and enjoyed traveling, reading, exercising, and loved to take on a new project. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Jarine Freeman(1995), and survived by his two daughters, Michele and Denise. He had four grandchildren, Grant, Alex, Alyssa, and Emily.  He is also survived by his partner of 24 years, Marie Wegner.
