Frederico was born on December 7, 1937, in the Philippines, where he learned the meaning of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family at a very young age. Those values stayed with him throughout his life and became part of the legacy he leaves behind.
To those who knew him, Frederico was a quiet man. He wasn't someone who needed to fill a room with conversation or be the center of attention. But when he had something to say, you listened. Beneath that quiet exterior was also a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to joke, tease, and occasionally catch his family completely off guard with something they never expected to hear from such a quiet man.
He worked hard throughout his life, not for recognition or praise, but to provide for the people he loved. His devotion to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren could be seen in the life he built for them, the sacrifices he made, and the many ways he quietly provided for and cared for his family throughout his life.
Frederico's greatest legacy is his family.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He may not always have expressed his love through words, but his family knew it was there—in his presence, his hard work, his humor, his sacrifices, and the quiet ways he cared for those around him.
In his final days, Frederico was surrounded by love. His wife, children, and grandchildren were by his side as he peacefully left this life. While saying goodbye to him has brought tremendous sadness, his family finds comfort knowing that he was not alone and that he left this world knowing just how deeply he was loved.
His family will miss so many things about him—his quiet presence, his unexpected sense of humor, his familiar ways, and all the little things that made him Dad and Grandpa. Most of all, they will miss the comfort of simply knowing he was there. His absence will be deeply felt, but the love, memories, and life he shared with his family will remain with them always.
Frederico's life cannot be measured only by the years between December 7, 1937, and August 23, 2026. It is measured in the family he raised, the sacrifices he made, the laughter he created, the lessons he passed down, and the memories that will continue to be shared for generations.
Though we wish we could have had more time, we are grateful for the 88 years he was given and for every year we were blessed to call him ours.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You worked hard, you loved your family, and you lived a full life. Your work here is done. We love you, and we will carry you with us always.
