Ossie, her husband of 64 years predeceased her on July 3, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Fukuhara (Curtis), son Colin Tsuchikawa (Barbara) grandchildren Corey Fernando (Marc), Trent Tsuchikawa (Stephanie), Erin Kempf (Josh), Kelsey Wescott (Kyle) great-grandsons, Nathan and Kasen Fernando, Tate and Jayce Tsuchikawa and Tyler Wescott. sister-in-laws Mary Harada (Tad Harada) and Sue Harada (Mack Harada).
Mom was blessed with a wonderful healthy life. We will forever remember her as our family matriarch. She made each of us feel special and loved. Her angelic smile, big hugs and kisses made you feel warm and fuzzy. Nothing made her happier than when the family would get together for dinner in her crowded dining room. She would spend hours cooking and baking for her “simple” dinners, and it was truly a labor of love. She loved the sound of laughter around the dinner table. We will miss her but we are all comforted in knowing she will be forever together with dad.
